A well established global energy and power industry company which was established over 100 years ago. Products are used in all sectors from oil and gas production to processing, pipeline transportation and distribution.

The organization spans the globe with manufacturing facilities, sales organizations and distribution and service centres in more than 90 countries. Employing over 5,000 people the group seeks to strengthen its presence in key markets, hence the need for a home based Sales Manager Central Eastern Europe.

Typical Duties/Essential Job Functions:


The Sales Manager will be responsible for and have complete familiarity with the following:

  • Direct gas compression engine and related equipment sales and marketing activities.
  • Key relationship contact with End User customers, Packagers and Distributors
  • Ongoing support to territory end users of company products
  • Act as a key resource for information and assistance to end users, Packagers and Distributor
  • Ability to influence purchase decisions at all levels of End User organizations
  • Conduct frequent product presentations at End Users and update Power Partners as required
  • Provide project tracking information to company manufacturing associates to aid forecasts.
  • Utilize company resources as appropriate to maintain seamless customer support
  • Assist in development and participation of domestic and international trade shows
  • Maintain contacts with territorial Gas companies to understand their project requirements and support them in new product development or update requests.

 

Requirements: 

 

Education and Experience Qualifications:

  • BS degree in business administrationmarketingfinanceEngineering is required
  • Minimum of 5 -10 years’ proven experience in Natural Gas Compressor Market is preferred.
  • A good knowledge of the local gas compression market and an understanding of what else is happening in the territory.
  • Proven experience in successfully selling gas compression components or related equipment to Oil & Gas companies, Packagers or Distributors.

  • Team oriented, able to work alone, travelling 50-75% and a person who enjoys working in a hands-on, fast-paced challenging environment. 
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to complete English reports and other material to a business English level.
  • Punctual, disciplined approach to work, reporting and related activities possessing a strong work ethic.
  • Passionate about business, energetic yet mindful of all steps in the negotiating process.
  • Proven networking skills, not afraid to pick up the phone and ask a colleague or a client.
