FWMurphy, a leader in instrumentation and controls technology for oil and gas and industrial engine markets since 1939, is accepting applications for a Western US Strategic Account Manager, to be located in the Denver, Colorado or Salt Lake City, Utah area. Territory will include Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Utah, Arizona, Nevada and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Successful candidate will work with customers at multiple levels of the customer’s organization, to sell instrumentation and controls solutions, including microprocessor-based control panel systems.
Ideal candidate will have:
· three plus years of direct account selling experience, preferably in instrumentation and systems for the natural gas compression industry
· understanding of instrumentation applications, plus some electrical/mechanical troubleshooting capabilities
· ability to build close working relationships with customers at all levels from field operations to senior management using excellent communication skills
· proficient computer skills including experience utilizing Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· ability to travel extensively (75-80%)
· BSEE/EET or BSME degree, with electrical background preferred.
